Lets pull the grill off this baby and take a look at the EP125s driver and ports.
8 Woofer Driver
The main 8 woofer has a pure cast aluminum basket and is fastened with high quality hex bolts.
Vortex Ports
The dual bass reflex system helps produce lower bass frequencies then a similar sized bass system could without them.
Note: The size and length of the tuned port dictates at which frequency the air inside the port will vibrate at and this is how this design produces the lower bass notes for your system.
The lower part of the unit features Axioms signature Vortex Ports which are somewhat different from traditional tunes ports. These Vortex ports are produced with flared sides (above) which helps prevent any port noise.
